So excited for the new creams! 😍🌸🌼 Creat

So excited for the new creams! 😍🌸🌼

Creating a truly natural cream is more complicated than you might think. At its simplest, a cream is a blend of water based ingredients and oil soluble ingredients , but as we know, oil and water don’t mix!

That’s where an emulsifier and a natural preservative comes in. Finding the right natural emulsifier is key to creating a beautiful cream with a silky texture that absorbs well into the skin, without leaving an unwanted residue or feeling heavy.

The feedback has been great so far and I am so excited for these new formulations. 🤩🥰

They’re made to nourish, hydrate and support healthy-looking skin, with ingredients chosen for their unique properties.

🌼 Bakuchiol, a plant-derived ingredient often used as a retinol alternative.
🏵 Hyaluronic acid to help hydrate the skin.
🏵100% pure essential oils and botanical essences.
And some other amazing ingredients and extracts!

Natural skincare, multi thoughtfully created 👩‍🔬

Very excited for

One of the most adulterated (faked) essential oils

One of the most adulterated (faked) essential oils, alongside Neroli, Sandalwood & Oud, is Rose.🌹

TWO THOUSAND rose petals for ONE DROP! 😳

My friend tried to help a farm grow Damask Roses in the Western Cape, but with no success. The roses were only able to produce Rose Water and no essential oil.

The conditions for Rose Damask roses to produce a sufficient amount of aromatic compounds has to be just right.😍👌

This is a secret way, no one really knows about, to test whether your Distilled Rose Oil is 100% pure....

Maybe your summer reset doesn't need to be complic

Maybe your summer reset doesn't need to be complicated.
Maybe it's opening the windows.
Taking a long walk.
Clearing out what you've been carrying.
Breathing a little deeper.
Moving your body.
Clearing the air.

Or simply adding a few drops of essential oil to your diffuser and letting the aroma shift the feeling of your space.

🌿 What does your summer reset need?

I never thought a sculpture garden could feel like

I never thought a sculpture garden could feel like a living work of art. 🌿

The garden is so unique. Imagine being able to move through an artwork, exploring every little part of it, with every turn revealing something new.

And the best part? It changes with every season. I would love to experience it at different times of the year and see how the garden transforms. #bucketlistadventures

This was definitely my nature & art highlight of the season. 🤍

There is nothing like a box full of natural skinca

There is nothing like a box full of natural skincare and essential oils. I love seeing what people choose, it always reminds how unique every persons sense of smell is. It is really an expression of our personalities and our inner desires.

Best part! Aromatherapy can beautifully be part your natural skincare routine, because when it comes to self-care, we can never have too much of either. ✨💆‍♀️🧖‍♀️🌸

My yearly tea stock-up at @carmientea shop 🍵🫖🤍

My husband knows this will be happening when we go to Citrusdal. Each year, there are a few new things to experience and taste. 🛒🛍😋

This year, I not only filled up my tea bag and loose-leaf supply, but I also tried the cold brews. 🍹 It is definitely going to feature this summer holiday. Not sure I got enough 😂

And then there’s the one I let get away last year: Green Rooibos! 💚 I mean, it’s essential for research and development 😉 I can't wait to try my Green Rooibos 🌱 extract I am experimenting with for skincare benefits.

Green Rooibos is an excellent choice for higher antioxidant properties, as it is not fermented.

We are so lucky to be so abundantly blessed with people and companies passionate, and commited to producing quality natural products.

If you know me, I always recommend Evening Primros

If you know me, I always recommend Evening Primrose Oil for fast absorption due to its exceptionally high Gamma-Linolenic Acid content. This is a perfect oil if you like something lightweight yet nutritional with balancing properties.😍⚖️

GLA, which the body converts to DGLA, supports the production of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins that help maintain balanced, resilient skin.

Evening Primrose is often used as a supplement to support hormone fluctuations.

This nutritional oil is combined with 🌸Clary Sage, 🐪Frankincense, and 🤍Chamomile infusions and essences.

And of course, my skincare secret: Natural Vitamin. E from plants versus the common Vitamin E acetate.

Phase 2 – The Luminosa Candle Scent Creation @yl

Phase 2 – The Luminosa Candle Scent Creation
@ylangleanne @minnelie

Objective: Create three versions of each aroma blend based on the scent combinations the client preferred.

After many hours of blending and refining, all the scents were completed—except Peace.

Minnellie presented the fragrance collection in a beautiful wooden box she created, and the client confidently selected four of the five scents while enjoying the sacred atmosphere created by one of the candle prototypes. ☺️✔️👃❤️

Peace not done yet, called for something extra special. I would have to source a beautiful Chamomile essential oil perfectly suited for a candle. 🌼🕯

Next Phase: Create 10 ml sample blends of each selected aroma and discover the perfect formulation for Peace by exploring this exceptional Chamomile alongside two different Lavenders sourced. 🪻🌼

Will Peace be just as loved as the others? Will we discover that perfect combination? Stay tuned... 🤞✨
