My yearly tea stock-up at @carmientea shop 🍵🫖🤍

My husband knows this will be happening when we go to Citrusdal. Each year, there are a few new things to experience and taste. 🛒🛍😋

This year, I not only filled up my tea bag and loose-leaf supply, but I also tried the cold brews. 🍹 It is definitely going to feature this summer holiday. Not sure I got enough 😂

And then there’s the one I let get away last year: Green Rooibos! 💚 I mean, it’s essential for research and development 😉 I can't wait to try my Green Rooibos 🌱 extract I am experimenting with for skincare benefits.

Green Rooibos is an excellent choice for higher antioxidant properties, as it is not fermented.

If you know me, I always recommend Evening Primrose Oil for fast absorption due to its exceptionally high Gamma-Linolenic Acid content. This is a perfect oil if you like something lightweight yet nutritional with balancing properties.😍⚖️

GLA, which the body converts to DGLA, supports the production of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins that help maintain balanced, resilient skin.

Objective: Create three versions of each aroma blend based on the scent combinations the client preferred.

After many hours of blending and refining, all the scents were completed—except Peace.

Minnellie presented the fragrance collection in a beautiful wooden box she created, and the client confidently selected four of the five scents while enjoying the sacred atmosphere created by one of the candle prototypes. ☺️✔️👃❤️

Peace not done yet, called for something extra special. I would have to source a beautiful Chamomile essential oil perfectly suited for a candle. 🌼🕯

Next Phase: Create 10 ml sample blends of each selected aroma and discover the perfect formulation for Peace by exploring this exceptional Chamomile alongside two different Lavenders sourced. 🪻🌼

Will Peace be just as loved as the others? Will we discover that perfect combination? Stay tuned... 🤞✨

Did you know???

Over the past few years, severe droughts have dramatically reduced the availability of genuine Rose Geranium essential oil.

Traditional producing regions such as Egypt, South Africa and Madagascar experienced exceptionally poor harvests, leaving the global market with very limited supplies.

In South Africa, only a small quantity became available around October last year—and at a significantly higher price.
As the supply of authentic Rose Geranium declined, lower-cost synthetic fragrance alternatives became increasingly common in the marketplace.

At Ylang Leanne the stock is getting a bit low, but I remain committed to only using 100% pure, authentic Rose Geranium Essential oil from trusted growers.

Especially the specific specie you know to have the full especially rosy aroma, so you can experience the therapeutic qualities you know and trust 🌸
